Global media reaction to China's Diaoyu surveillance-(Senkaku/Diaoyu issue)

The Associated Press comments that "Chinese surveillance ships have been patrolling the waters of the Diaoyu islands over the past few months, though it’s "rare to witness a Chinese surveillance plane over the area."
Russia’s official news agency, ITAR-TASS says "it’s the first time a Chinese surveillance plane has been flying over the Diaoyu islands. And China has reiterated that the Diaoyu islands are Chinese territory."

CNN reports that "Japan dispatched F-15 jets after detecting the Chinese surveillance plane - the first time a combat jet has been involved in the Diaoyu islands disputes."
AFP says "Chinese surveillance ships patrolling the Diaoyu islands are a common sight. And China is expected to continue sending surveillance ships and planes to the disputed waters."
