Greek PM attends premiere of CCTV documentary "Glamorous Greece"

The Prime Minister of Greece, Antonis Samaras, has attended the premiere of the CCTV documentary "Glamorous Greece" during his visit in China.

Samaras said both China and Greece had proud ancient civilizations and hoped the documentary would enhance understanding and communication between their peoples. Greek Tourism Minister, Olga Kefalogianni, has expressed Greece’s hope that more Chinese tourists and investment will be attracted to Greece.


The 3-episode documentary is produced by CCTV in collaboration with Greek National Television. It features the history of ancient Greek civilization through to modern day society in Greece.
