Refugees in Lebanon see no end to the conflict

Saturday marked the third anniversary of the start of the conflict in Syria. But for Syrian refugees in Lebanon, there still appears to be no end in sight.

The number of refugees in Lebanon now stands close to a million. Many live in tented camps, suffering from miserable living conditions.

They had hoped for a swift end to the war and a better future for their children. But they are pessimistic about the end of the violence. And...have little hope the international community will be able to find a solution that would restore peace to their country.

Meanwhile in Beirut, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Antonio Guterres, called on the international community to show unity in cutting off the flow of arms and money to both sides in the conflict.
