Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu spoke with UN Secretary-General Ban
Ki-moon over the weekend, saying Israel had information that points
directly towards Hamas, as the group behind the kidnapping.
Netanyahu said he appreciated the secretary-general's remarks condemning the abductions, and that Abbas must end the unity agreement with Hamas, a group that calls for the destruction of the State of israel.
Netanyahu added, "Israel is determined to protect itself against deadly terrorism."
