Two groups of representatives from the Organization for Security and
Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) are expected to arrive in Russia's Rostov
region on Tuesday, the Rostov regional government said Monday.
"The representatives will oversee the work of Donetsk and Gukovo border checkpoints," the Interfax news agency quoted the spokesman as saying.
They are expected to attend a technical meeting with the Rostov regional leaders, and customs and border officials on Wednesday.
Russia is ready to provide all kinds of assistance for the OSCE 's observation work, including the use of objective control means, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said earlier at a briefing.
"The Russian president invited OSCE observers to eliminate all doubts (about the weapons supplied by Russia to the Ukrainian militia) and to see with their own eyes what is happening at these checkpoints," Lavrov said.
