The Presidents of Russia and Turkey Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan have finished their meeting in the narrow format. The Russian-Turkish negotiations currently continue with participation of delegations. The talks are held behind closed doors.
According to the press service, high-ranking representatives of military, political and economic blocs of the two countries are present at bilateral talks held in the format of a working lunch in the Oval Hall of the Constantine Palace.
Among members of the Russian delegation are Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, presidential aide Yury Ushakov, Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov, special presidential envoy on Syrian settlement Alexander Lavrentyev, Gazprom head Alexey Miller, Energy Minister Alexander Novak, Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov, Economic Development Minister Alexey Ulyukayev and Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrey Karlov.
Members of the Turkish delegation are Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Simsek, Head of National Intelligence Organization Hakan Fidan, Undersecretary for Defense Industries Ismail Demir, presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin, Deputy Chairman of Justice and Development Party Mehdi Eker, Turkish Ambassador to Russia Umit Yardim, Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci, Energy Minister Berat Albayrak, Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Faruk Celik, Minister of Culture and Tourism Nabi Avci and Transport Minister Ahmet Arslan.
After talks Putin and Erdogan will hold a joint press conference. They will later meet with representatives of business circles of Russia and Turkey.
