US Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton should return up to $35 million to Saudi Arabia and Qatar that her campaigns and institutions have received, Republican rival Donald Trump said at a rally in North Carolina.
According to a poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports and published on Thursday, Trump is leading Clinton with 43 percent support among likely US voters to her 41 percent.
"Hillary thinks they are funding ISIS [Daesh] but still takes their money,” Trump said on Friday. “I think she should give back the $25 million to $35 million she's taken from Saudi Arabia [and Qatar].”
One of the emails made public by WikiLeaks this week indicates that Clinton knew with certainty that both Saudi Arabia and Qatar, major US allies in the Middle East, were supporting the Daesh.
“This is just the tip of the iceberg of Clinton corruption. It's amazing what she's getting away with… When she was at the State Department $6 billion was found to be missing. This is what we're going to have for our president,” Trump said.
