French President Francois Hollande said that the victory of Donald Trump in US elections opened up a period of uncertainty.

The victory of Donald Trump in US elections kicks off a period of uncertainty, French President Francois Hollande said Wednesday.

 "The people of the United States voted for Donald Trump. I congratulate him because this is natural in relations of presidents of two democratic countries … These elections open up a period of uncertainty," Hollande said in a statement.
