At Least 20 Injured After Two Large Explosions Rock Istanbul

At least 20 people have been wounded in two large explosions in Turkey.

Turkey's Interior Ministry is saying at least one explosion was a car bomb attack targeting a riot police bus.

Reports say one explosion was in Taksim Square in central Istanbul, the other near Suzer Plaza.

Local TV stations are showing footage of a fire burning near the Vodafone Arena in the Besiktas district of Istanbul. There are also reports of gunfire near the stadium.

The car bomb attack near the arena, which wounded at least 20, took place about two hours after a football match, Haaretz reports, citing Turkey's Interior Ministry. The wounded are believed to be police officers who were in charge of security for the match, NTV reports.
