ISIS claims to have shot down Russian military helicopter in central Syria

The Islamic State terror group on Monday announced it had shot down a Russian military helicopter that was flying over a Syrian airbase.


In a statement released through the IS-linked Amaq news agency, the radical group claimed to have downed a Russian attack chopper in the central Syrian province of Homs, near the T4 airbase that is currently under siege by the jihadists.
