At least six Afghan policemen killed in US airstrikes

At least six Afghan policemen were killed and 14 others wounded Saturday in several airstrikes by the United States that erroneously hit a police check post and patrol in Helmand province in southwest Afghanistan.


"The airstrikes were carried out last night on border police; so far,six policemen are confirmed martyred and 14 others were injured," a provincial government source, requesting anonymity, told EFE.
