Lebanon to suspend flights to northern Iraq

The Lebanese Middle East Airlines announced on Wednesday that will suspend its flights from Beirut to Erbil and vice-versa, according to the Iraqi government's request.


The suspension of the flights in the mentioned airline will take effect from the coming Friday, according to MEA announcement which is the biggest airline in Lebanon.

It seems that this measure has been taken due to holding a referendum in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region.
