The nation's top office announced the country will cooperate with Japan's new prime minister and Cabinet.
Through a press statement on Wednesday... the government said it looks forward to cooperation for the development of forward-looking bilateral relations.
China's foreign ministry called for a strict adherence to the two countries' political agreements.
This includes respecting the "One China" policy... in regards to Taiwan.
