Powerful explosions heard in several Donetsk districts, TASS correspondents say - TASS

Donetsk is being shelled on Thursday, the sounds of explosions are heard in several city districts, TASS on-site correspondents report.

According to the JCCC mission to the DPR, the bombardments have been recorded in the Kirovsky, Kuybyshevsky, Proletarsky and Petrovsky districts. A total of 20 various missiles have been fired at the city.

The mission also specified that as a result of the shelling two private houses caught fire. "Information on the bombardments continues to come in," it added.

An air defense system is operating in the city.
