Iran’s ambassador to the UN lashed out at the US for turning a blind eye to the nuclear arsenals of the Israeli regime and failing to support the convening of the Review Conference for the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).
Addressing the Tenth NPT Review Conference in New York on Tuesday, Majid Takht Ravanchi said the Conference was postponed indefinitely because of the US’ opposition.
“It has been the persistent policy of the US to turn a blind eye to the nuclear arsenals of the Israeli regime while not supporting the convening of the Conference,” the outgoing Iranian envoy added.
