Rocket fire targets US forces in Syria

A rocket was launched towards US coalition forces at the Al-Tanf Garrison in southern Syria on Saturday night, US CENTCOM announced early Sunday morning.

The rocket fell outside the compound and no US or partnered forces were injured or killed in the incident. Additional rockets were found at the launch origin site and the incident is under investigation.
