Kyiv itself decides how to use Western weapons. This was announced by the official representative of the US State Department, Ned Price, answering a question from journalists, would Washington approve of Ukraine's strikes by transferred Western systems to Crimea.
"Ultimately, it is up to our Ukrainian partners to decide how and where best to use these weapons and supplies to defend their territory," Price said.
The State Department spokesman noted that it is not the United States that decides on the goals for Kyiv.
"The US Department of Defense is in constant communication with Ukrainian partners about developments, about systems that would fit," Ned Price emphasized.
At the same time, he also added that Washington allegedly does not encourage Kyiv to strike at Russia and does not contribute to them.
