Israel launched missiles at targets near Syria’s Damascus

Israel launched “a number of missiles” from the Golan Heights targeting the vicinity of Syria’s capital Damascus that left two soldiers wounded and “some material damage,” Syrian State Media reported early on Thursday citing a military source.

 Two Syrian service members suffered wounds in an Israeli rocket attack in the vicinity of Damascus, the Syrian Arab News Agency reported, citing a Syrian military source.

Air defenses downed several rockets fired from the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

The attack, which targeted some facilities located not far from the Syrian capital, is reported to have caused damage.
