Kremlin rules out peace negotiations if Kiev ignores new realities

There can be no talk about a peace process if Ukraine ignores new realities and the latest developments, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.

"All of Moscow’s demands are well known. The de facto situation and new realities are also well known. The transition to a peaceful track is impossible, if this set of issues is ignored," Peskov said, responding to a question about how the Kiev regime’s position should change to pave the way for a peaceful settlement.

The Kremlin’s press secretary earlier said that the goals of the special military operation could be achieved only militarily under the Kiev regime’s current stance.
