Israeli Military Says Drone Crashed over Syria Due to “Technical Malfunction”

The Israeli military announced on Wednesday that a small military drone crashed in Syrian territory overnight, citing alleged “technical malfunction”.

“The drone, a Skylark model, was on a reconnaissance mission when it fell out of the sky due to a technical fault,” The Israeli military said, as quoted by The Times of Israel.

It added that “there is no fear of information leaking from the device.”
