22 US Troops Injured in Chopper Crash in NE Syria, CENTCOM Says

Twenty-two US soldiers were injured after a helicopter that was carrying them crashed in the areas where the American forces are stationed in northeastern Syria, the US Central Command said.  

“A helicopter mishap in northeastern Syria resulted in injuries of various degrees to 22 US soldiers,” CENTCOM said in a statement.

“The cause of the incident is under investigation,” CENTCOM said, according to SANA.
