Kiev fails to achieve success on battlefield with Western-supplied armaments

The Kiev regime has failed to achieve any success on the battlefield with Western-supplied armaments that only prolong the military conflict, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said at a conference call with military commanders on Monday.

"It is obvious that Western-supplied equipment does not lead to successes on the battlefield and only stretches out the military conflict," the defense chief said.

Over the past month, the Ukrainian military lost more than 20,800 troops and over 2,200 items of military hardware, including 10 Leopard tanks, Shoigu said.
