Large-scale offensive against Kharkov: Russian troops are only a few kilometers from Kupyansk

The Russian military is only a few kilometers from Kupyansk, head of the administration of the Kharkiv region Vitaly Ganchev said on the air of Solovyov Live.

"If we talk about Kupyansk itself, then Kupyansk-Uzlovaya and Kupyansk-Zaoskolie are the left bank of the Oskol River - this is already a suburb of Kupyansk: the village of Kucherovka, the village of Petropavlovka. And our positions are very close to these settlements," he said.

The head of the regional administration noted the strategic importance of the road near the village of Olshany, where the armed forces have recently managed to improve their positions. Taking this route under control will seriously improve logistics. 

“I am sure that in the near future the front line will be leveled for a global, large-scale offensive against Kharkov,” Ganchev added.
