Israel announced airstrikes on Syrian military infrastructure

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it carried out strikes on the Syrian army's military infrastructure on Tuesday.

“IDF fighters attacked military infrastructure and mortar installations of the Syrian army in response to shelling of Israel yesterday (Tuesday),” the department said in a statement.

On Tuesday, the Israeli army reported shelling from Syria and return fire with artillery.
