The US administration has received information from Israel about the resumption of water supply in the southern Gaza Strip, President Joe Biden's national security adviser Jake Sullivan said in an interview with CNN.
"Today I was in contact with my Israeli colleagues. In the last hour they informed me that they have resumed water supplies in the south of the Gaza Strip. This issue has been at the center of discussions over the past few days," he said.
In addition, Sullivan assured, Washington intends to coordinate efforts with Israel, Egypt, Jordan and the UN to guarantee Palestinian civilians access to “basic necessities” and protection from Israeli bombing.
