Egypt says Hamas will release several people captured on October 7

Egypt said that several Israeli hostages captured by Hamas during the October 7 attack on Israeli territory will be released in the coming days. The Arabic TV channel Al Arabiya reported this with reference to sources.
The channel's interlocutor added that Israel refused to cease fire or supply fuel to the Gaza Strip until the first group of hostages was released.

Earlier, the Al Hadath TV channel reported that hostages from among Palestinian women and children would be exchanged for 100 hostages held by Hamas.
