Russian forces destroy 5 Ukrainian army boats, amassed troops in Kherson area

Russian forces destroyed five Ukrainian army boats and amassed enemy manpower in the Kherson area over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, a spokesman for the regional emergency services reported on Friday.

"Dnepr battlegroup units inflicted damage on the enemy by firepower in the Kherson direction, destroying five Ukrainian army boats, amassed adversary troops near the settlement of Krynki, an enemy troop amassment in the area of Alekseyevsky Island, amassed adversary troops near the railway bridge," the spokesman said.

In addition, Russian forces destroyed a Ukrainian 120mm mortar with its team in the island zone and an enemy weapon emplacement in the Kakhovka direction, he said.
