Israel offers Hamas to suspend hostilities for a week

Israel has proposed to the Palestinian Hamas movement to stop hostilities for a week as part of a new agreement on the release of prisoners, Axios portal reported, citing sources.

The head of the Israeli Mossad, David Barnea, has proposed a way to resume negotiations with Hamas to ensure the release of about 40 prisoners, the portal writes. These include women, men over 60, and people who urgently need medical attention.
