Israeli drone strike kills four in southern Syria

Syrian pro-government media outlets have reported that Israel carried out a drone strike in southern Syria that killed four people, including members of the Hezbollah armed group.

The Al-Watan newspaper and Sham FM radio said the drone strike on Friday targeted a car in the southern town of Baath. The bodies of four people were later taken to a hospital in the Syrian town of Quneitra on the edge of the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, the Associated Press news agency reports.

A Hezbollah official in Beirut said three of the dead were members of the armed group, according to the news agency.
