Three killed east of Baghdad as senior Kataib Hezbollah commanders targeted

A US missile strike on a car east of Baghdad has killed at least three people, including a senior Kataib Hezbollah commander, as Washington continues to target Iran-aligned groups in Iraq and Syria.

The strike comes amid fears that Israel’s war on Gaza could spiral into a regional conflict, with flashpoints occurring in Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq and Syria.
