Units of the Center group of the Russian Armed Forces liberated the settlement of Arkhangelskoye in the Donetsk People's Republic.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports this.In one day, Russian military personnel in this direction defeated two brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and a territorial defense brigade. Three counterattacks of enemy attack were repelled near the settlements of Shumy, Netailovo and Solovyevo.
The enemy's losses amounted to up to 410 militants, three armored vehicles and two cars. During the counter-battery fight, the enemy howitzers were hit: M777, D-20, MSTA-B, three D-30 and M102, as well as the Akatsiya self-propelled artillery mount and the Giatsint-B cannon.
Earlier in the DPR, Russian troops liberated the settlement of Andreevka. This settlement was taken under control as a result of active actions by units of the “Southern” group of forces.
