Russia's possible response to attacks on its territory is known to the president and the military, who are taking appropriate countermeasures, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
On Tuesday, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will take part in a meeting of the heads of the European Union's defense ministries, which will be held in Brussels. The day before, he spoke out in favor of lifting restrictions on the use of Western weapons for Kyiv’s strikes on targets on Russian territory.
“Our military knows this. The Supreme Commander-in-Chief and our military know this, they are taking appropriate countermeasures and preparing for them,” Peskov told Izvestia in response to a question about what Russia’s response to such actions might be and what consequences this would lead to.
