After the deployment of part of the non-strategic nuclear potential on the territory of Belarus, the Russian side is doing this together with its Belarusian allies.
Russia regularly conducts exercises of strategic and non-strategic deterrence forces, Russian President Vladimir Putin said following negotiations with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the start of preparations for exercises that will test the use of non-strategic nuclear weapons. Missile formations of the Southern Military District, aviation and the Navy will participate in them.
