United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres, speaking at the Jordan summit, condemned the unprecedented scale of violence in Gaza, describing the devastation as beyond anything he has witnessed in his tenure.
Guterres stated, "The speed and scale of carnage and killing in Gaza is beyond anything in my years as secretary general."
He noted that at least 1.7 million people, accounting for 75 percent of Gaza’s population, have been repeatedly displaced by Israeli military attacks.
