The Polish Army will conduct a special operation on the border with Belarus. This was announced by the head of the country's Ministry of Defense, Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh.
According to him, the new mission will be carried out on August 1.
“Two operations will be completed - training and border protection. There will be one mission “Safe Podlasie”, in which up to 17 thousand soldiers will take part,” he said.
Kosinyak-Kamysh also stressed that if necessary, the army will send additional forces.
