Borrell: The EU will discuss new air defense supplies to Ukraine after the strikes by the Russian Armed Forces

The head of the EU diplomatic service, Josep Borrell, said that on Thursday, August 29, he will discuss with the EU foreign ministers the supply of new air defense systems to the Kyiv.

“Ukraine needs air defense immediately,” Borrell wrote on social networks. “I will discuss this with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba and EU foreign ministers at an informal meeting on Thursday,”

In addition, the politician called on EU countries to allow Kyiv to use Western weapons on Russian territory.
