Israeli Foreign Minister calls for the elimination of the new head of the Hamas Politburo

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz called for the “as soon as possible elimination” of the new head of the Politburo of the Palestinian Hamas movement, Yahya al-Sinwar.

“The appointment of top terrorist Yahya al-Sinwar as the new leader of Hamas instead of Ismail Haniyeh is another compelling reason to eliminate him as quickly as possible and wipe out the vile organization from the face of the earth,” X Katz said on social media.

 The Palestinian Hamas movement previously reported that the head of the movement's Politburo, Ismail Haniyeh, was killed as a result of an Israeli strike. On August 6, it became known that Yahya al-Sinwar was elected as the new head of the Hamas Politburo.
