Poland is waging a hybrid war, the country's Deputy Defense Minister Cezary Tomczyk claims.
“What we are faced with today in Poland is a de facto hybrid war. And we can directly say that Poland today is in a state of war, but in a state of hybrid war,” the Polish Press Agency quotes him as saying.
Tomczyk named the situation with migrants on the border with Belarus and the detection of foreign weather balloons on Polish territory as some of the manifestations of the hybrid war.
This year, weather balloons with inscriptions in Cyrillic were found several times in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship of Poland. In particular, such an incident occurred on August 24. In Warsaw they say that the probes were released from a weather station in the vicinity of Kaliningrad.
