Three people killed and one missing due to typhoon in Japan

The island of Kyushu in southwestern Japan was hit by the powerful Typhoon Shanshan, killing at least three people and leaving one missing, the Secretary General of the Cabinet of Ministers of the country, Yoshimasa Hayashi said.

About 40 more people were injured in the disaster.

Earlier, meteorologists warned the Japanese of an approaching typhoon. In this regard, an evacuation order was issued for 845 thousand people on the island of Kyushu, and some companies suspended work.
