Welt: the EU will discuss the possibility of sending instructors to Ukraine

In the middle of next week, the ministers of defense and foreign affairs of the European Union countries intend to discuss the possibility of sending military instructors to Ukraine. The newspaper Welt am Sonntag writes about this. The final decision on this issue must be made no later than November.

It is noted that the mandate of the European mission to train Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers ends at the end of autumn. If extended, it may be expanded to include training not only in the EU, but also in Ukraine.

    “The first informal debate on this topic already took place in Brussels before the summer holidays in July,” the publication said.
