Borrell: The EU spent a total of 110 billion euros on Ukraine

The European Union spent 42 billion euros on military supplies to Ukraine. This was stated on Wednesday by the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, speaking at a conference in Brussels.

“We have already allocated €42 billion to Ukraine for military needs alone. And the amount continues to grow. By the end of the year there will be €45 billion,” he said.

At the same time, according to Josep Borrell, the total amount of assistance reached 110 billion euros. This is supposedly more than the US provided.

“If we count economic, humanitarian and financial assistance, it has already reached €110 billion,” he added.
