Russia will immediately retaliate if the West approves Kyiv's use of long-range missiles. This statement was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
The diplomat noted that Moscow stopped monitoring the topic of the West’s possible permission for Kyiv to use long-range missiles after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the consequences of such a step.
“As soon as it (the decision) is made, we will know about it and the scheme that Vladimir Putin mentioned will already be in effect,” the minister explained on air on one of the Russian TV channels.
Let us recall that on May 28 he said that NATO countries must “be aware of what they are playing with” when they make proposals for strikes deep into Russian territory. He stressed that Russia will continue to “very closely” monitor NATO
If the West authorizes the Ukrainian armed forces to use long-range missiles, Russia’s response measures will already be in effect, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in his commentary for the Channel One.
