At least 20 people, including five journalists working for the international media, are reported to have been killed in an Israeli strike on a hospital in the southern Gaza Strip.
A Reuters cameraman, an Associated Press (AP) journalist, and an Al Jazeera photographer were among them. It is not clear who the other two worked for.
Several people were killed in an initial strike, and others in a second which happened as rescuers attended the scene, the Hamas-run health ministry said.

Belgium’s Foreign Minister said he does not rule out blocking the government’s major decisions if political parties continue to prevent him from taking a tougher stance on Israel.
ReplyDelete“If the government does not take a tougher stance on human rights violations by the Israeli government or recognise Palestine, there is a risk of a major crisis,” Maxime Prevot, who is also the deputy PM, was quoted as saying by De Standaard on Monday.
“For me and my party, Gaza is indeed a crucial issue. We absolutely must find a solution within the government.”

ReplyDeleteSelon des témoins, la deuxième frappe sur l’hôpital Nasser est intervenue après l’arrivée de secouristes et de journalistes sur les lieux d’une première frappe. La diffusion d’images en direct de Reuters depuis l’hôpital, dont s’occupait Houssam al Masri, a été soudainement interrompue au moment de la frappe initiale, selon des images de Reuters.
