Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has issued a statement, saying the army is “carrying out intensive strikes targeting sites belonging to the Iranian regime”.
“We will organise a continuous air bridge to carry out a powerful attack on targets in Tehran,” he wrote on X.
At least 108 people have died in an explosion at a school in southern Iran, according to a local prosecutor.
It happened as the US and Israel launched massive air strikes against the country.

IDF spokesperson Effie Defrin says two Israelis have been killed in Iran's retaliatory attack.
ReplyDeleteIn a briefing, Defrin says: “Even though we have extensive operations of the IDF air defence systems, it's still not foolproof.” He urges people in Israel to follow instructions from the authorities and take shelter when under attack.
Effie Defrin says the IDF has “severely damaged” Iran’s defence system, adding that Israel is working with the US military to continue its attack.
