It will be simpler for Washington to come to terms with Iran after strikes, Donald Trump said in an interview with CBS News.
"Much easier now than it was a day ago, obviously," Trump said when asked about the prospects of a diplomatic solution to the crisis, "Because they are getting beat up badly," he added.
The US leader at the same time refused to call the military operation against Iran a war.

Trump has just issued a new statement on his Truth Social media app, warning Iran against hitting back.
ReplyDelete“Iran just stated that they are going to hit very hard today, harder than they have ever been hit before,” the US president wrote.
“They better not do that, however, because if they do, we will hit them with a force that has never been seen before!”
Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani: The conduct of Iran's armed forces today will be much stronger than yesterday. Groups seeking to dismantle Iran should not think that the spirit will be broken and parts of it can be disconnected; our response to them will be like yesterday.
ReplyDeleteA temporary leadership council will soon be established until the next leader is chosen.
