IRGC’s seizure of vessels sends message that navy is ready to ‘retaliate’ in Strait of Hormuz

This morning, the IRGC navy said in a statement that they seized two vessels … saying that they were violating maritime rules and also jeopardising navigation systems and moving without permission from the IRGC.

 Iran has released a video said to show its forces capturing a container vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.

The video shows armed and masked Iranian troops scaling the side of a cargo ship.

The IRGC said they captured two vessels in the strait on Wednesday, and both ships were directed towards the Iranian coast.
