The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmaeil Baghaei, said it clearly that there is no direct meeting or planned meeting with United States officials in Islamabad.
Instead, he spoke about “observations” and their positions that will be conveyed to Islamabad to hand it to the United States representatives.
They are saying that this naval blockade over the Strait of Hormuz is blocking progress on direct talks in the upcoming days.
They are also saying that they will not accept any kind of threatening language or threatening rhetoric from Donald Trump, and are describing the escalation in the Strait of Hormuz and this naval blockade as an act of war and piracy.
