Medvedev: European drones are used against Russia daily

Unmanned aerial vehicles manufactured in European countries are being used against Russia every day during attacks, wrote Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, on the Max platform.

"European drones, their spare parts, other weapons, and, not least, intelligence information are involved in daily attacks on our country. As a result of their actions, residential buildings are damaged, and our civilians are killed."

Ukrainian drones have previously entered the airspace of various countries, and initial reports consistently claimed it was "a Russian attack," President Vladimir Putin said in response to a TASS question about the drone incident in Romania.

"We know that Ukrainian drones have flown into Finland, Poland, and several Baltic states. The initial reaction was exactly the same as it is now in Romania. 'Oh no, the Russians are coming, it’s a Russian attack!'" Putin recalled.

  1. The crash of a drone on a house in Romania was the result of an air defense strike by Ukraine, Romanian President Nicusor Dan stated.

He traveled to Galati to the drone crash site and stated that the drone ended up on Romanian territory after Ukrainian air defense strikes over Reni.
