The Russian forces struck two dry cargo ships in the Black Sea that were delivering military equipment to the Ukrainian troops, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday.
"During the day, land-based precision weapons and attack drones struck two dry cargo ships in the Black Sea that were delivering weapons and military equipment," the ministry said in a statement.
Russian forces intensified strikes against Ukraine’s Black Sea coast in July, with logistics hubs and commercial ships being routinely hit as part of sustained military operations.
The strikes are conducted continuously as a measure to sever enemy's military supply lines.
