Tehran is preparing for a resumption of conflict with the United States, The Wall Street Journal reports, citing unnamed officials and intelligence assessments.

 According to the report, Iranian leadership views the current round of negotiations as merely an "interlude before conflict." 

The signed memorandum is seen as an attempt by Washington and Israel to ease pressure on the global economy and buy time, rather than a genuine step toward resolution.
